Dr. Karel Alcedo

Dr. Alcedo is the principal investigator and currently an Assistant Professor of Pharmacology in the Department of Biomolecular Sciences and a Research Assistant Professor in the Research Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the School of Pharmacy in Ole Miss. She obtained her Ph.D. in Cell Biology and Physiology at UNC-Chapel Hill. She trained as a postdoctoral fellow at Boston Children's Hospital and Harvard University in the Department of Stem Cell and Regenerative Biology.
